STORY
Hey there! My name is Hitomi.
As a California native with an innate love for the ocean, my journey from marine biologist to ceramic artist has been nothing short of transformative.
My fascination with nature led me to study and work up and down the beautiful Golden Coast. After eight fulfilling years in marine mammalogy and training, a creative spark ignited within me, prompting a pivot into digital media,
and now to pottery.
My functional pieces reflect my scientific roots, intertwining with newfound artistic expression. Each creation is a testament to my enduring passion for the sea, inviting you to explore the beauty of marine-inspired art alongside me as I continue to evolve and grow on this creative odyssey.
